Mr. Cheng Man Tai, the Chairman of the Group, established Embry in Hong Kong in 1975. He has over 36 years of experience in the design and manufacture of lingerie. In July 2006, he was conferred the World Outstanding Chinese Award jointly by World Chinese Business Investment Foundation Limited and American Asian Development Association in the USA, and an Honorary Doctorate of Business Management by Armstrong University. Mr. Cheng graduated from Beijing Agricultural Engineering University (now known as China Agricultural University). He is also an Honorary Professor of the China Agricultural University. Mr. Cheng was elected a Fellow of the Asian Knowledge Management Association in December 2008 and was awarded Honorary Fellowship and admitted as Honorary Professor by Canadian Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Lincoln University respectively in September 2009.
